Things In My House Thursday

My version of "Things in my House" is some 'things in my room'. My first 'thing' is my violin. I took violin lessons when I was four.

The violin is very tiny, it looks like a little toy. It may not look that tiny in the picture but it really is. Of course, it was just the right size for me!

Perspective:

And, by the way, my hair wasn't naturally curly like Charlotte's; mine was the work of millions of pink sponge rollers.

Go to my mom's blog and participate in "Things In My House" with me. It's fun.

That is the cutest thing!!! Do you still play?

I used to roll my dd's hair in sponge rollers. It was fun! I miss those days. :o)

That sucker is pretty small, not to mention that it weighs pretty much nothing...

i hated sleeping in those rollers with the fiery passion of a thousand suns.

Mary doesn't still play because Mom is musically challenged and it was up to me to help her at the lessons and at practice. . . I gave up.

I was hoping she'd want to take it up again when she was able to do it without me, but she took piano lessons instead.

We used rags torn into pieces for a while until I could find sponge rollers like I used as a child for my daughter.

Great little violin...cute arrangement there with the violin, photo and books.

I always wanted to learn to play...but in fifth grade, right after I passed the test they gave for musical aptitude (that I passed) I broke my arm and that was that among other things.
