Goodies from the Neighbors

Yesterday, Dad and Christopher went to a neighbor's house to pick up a sewing machine. I was wondering why they both had to go get. I asked Mom if it was just a normal machine. Mom said no, and than she started laughing (which is usually bad). Dad told me to come look at it (it was in our neighbors garage, the garage door was open, and they live right across the street), so I just looked out our front door and, there it was. It wasn't just a sewing machine, it was the whole shebang (you'll see in the pictures). After they brought it over I immediately started checking to see if it worked; it did. It even came with all these different foots like, a buttonhole foot, hemmer foot, zipper foot, and a darning foot. I really want to learn how to use this sewing machine. I love all the drawers and storage, even though it's really big in my little room.

I want that dang cabinet!

Also, what if you moved your little green bookshelf and put the cabinet there? I don't know where the bookshelf would go, but that is not really my problem.

I'm dying to see how long it takes you to figure out how to use all that. It looks great. What a find for you.

We have awesome neighbors! It had been Margaret's mom's machine (I think), and they just didn't have room for it. No one else in the family sewed or wanted it.
