Used to, whenever Charlotte came over she would want to watch Yo Gabba Gabba. We decided she needed to be watching something better than Brobee and Foofa (gabba characters). Christopher mentioned that Veggie Tales comes on TV so we have started recording it. Charlotte really likes it. It has music in it, is funny and it's wholesome and Christian. We are glad Charlotte enjoys it. Yo Gabba Gabba was getting pretty old.

I find Veggie Tales infinitely more tedious than YGG.
Although it is not perfect, YGG gets credit for encouraging kids to be active while they are watching- you learn to dance along with them. Charlotte spends a good part of her YGG watching actually moving around instead of sitting or staring blankly.
And if you don't care for dancing, you can learn to beatbox. Something for everyone.
She wanders around while watching Veggie Tales. She even dances to the songs sometimes.
And I'm sorry but not all of us want to know how to beatbox. (especially not with Biz)
While I do personally LOVE beatboxing, I think the VeggieTale songs are much better, and yes, Charlotte DOES dance to them.
She sits still and stares blankly when Pa Grape explains the wonders of Johnny DONUT Seed, or Minnesota Cuke realizes that he has to love his enemies and that his power comes from God, not Samson's hairbrush.
The baby is learning!!! She's a sponge.
I still love Veggie Tales! Sometimes our church even shows VT clips :)
So, it's the battle between YGG and Veggie Tales, uh? I better clue Michael in on this since I've been banned from the tv in the den for the past couple hours while he records episodes of YGG onto DVD for Charlotte. Maybe he should switch to VT. I personally prefer The Wiggles over the other two. There's plenty action and they're real people. That has to count for something, right?
What is Yo Gabba Gabba??

I love Brobee and Foofa so I say stick to YGG
YGG is a children's show. It has people dressed up and there are songs and dancing. It is really quite stupid.
ive never seen it...
